They still appeal to a Reading-level demographic? I know we had this argument about Muse a few pages back and The Strokes' success was even longer ago than theirs.

 

Although tbf it something to note that when I first went to Reading for a day trip in 2011 that Strokes/Pulp co-headline and Muse were two of the headliners.

Absolutely, but also pretty much in jest. The chance of them ever rocking up in its current guise is about as large as me playing a set full of banjo covers on the Chevron Stage.
