In any case, didn't look like there were any shared names in 2019 (when I visited Truck) or last year, or maybe I'm just being too lazy to truly scroll through the data and check for sure. At the very least the top-end Truck names are likely out, so that's no to the likes of Courteeners, NBT, Franz, Last Dinner Party, etc for R&L. Some of them played R&L '24 though so that's perhaps not a surprise.

I thought the Brie and cranberry would make the pasty soggy but they’ve come out wonderfully! 
 

However, these are the best of the lot. Stilton and Plum & Apple Chutney Angus Sausage Rolls. Absolutely unbelievable.

I’d be happy with that as it would mean BMTH and Chappell Roan on the same day. 
 

I struggle to think of two artists I would be less interested in than Eminem and Central Cee back to back.

I imagine the crowd for Hoziers set would be awful for him because it will be made up of Travis' fans. Of which, I imagine, very few care about Hoziers music.

Despite not caring for Hozier myself I really do hate to see the energy get drained out of a set by a sh*t audience waiting for someone else.

Final post from me today about The Great Sausage Roll Experiment. Six different variations, all absolute hits except the Black Pudding & Sun Dried Tomato ones. Not too keen on those (I would eat them but not before any of the others). 
 

Let’s get back to lineup discussion, eh? 😂

Central Cee into Travis Scott makes sense because the hype, the material, the crowd demographic. There will be a lot of burned tents that night.

 

Chappel into a rock act with a big show like Foos or BMTH makes the most sense again, because the glammy music fans that enjoy Chappel will enjoy the rock show afterwards.

 

Hozier into Post Malone, again you have Hoziers southern gothic and dark sounds which appeals to contemporary soft music fans, going into Posties white guy hip hop crossovers.

 

This is logical to me, but obviously FR will split the days to sell weekends.

 

FRI// Hozier >> Post Malone

 

SAT// Central Cee >> Travis Scott

 

SUN// Chappel Roan >> Foo Fighters (BMTH)

I've said it before—Bru-C, Digga D, AJ Tracey at Reading 2022 were honestly THE worst crowds I've ever seen. Not in terms of size but the middle class British teenagers that are desperate to be gangster with no accountability.

 

Watching an older gent probably 45-50 stood there and some scrote in a Gucci bucket hand did a running punch straight into his stomach, as a gang of teen girls clad in the latest boohoo scant minidresses found it to be the most hilarious thing in the world.

I can only talk for Leeds, which doesn’t seem as bad as Reading in general for trouble. 
 

2021 was really bad for campsite trouble but it was the first festival of any kind in two years; people lost their heads like wild bloody animals. Horrible, horrible festival. The worst I’ve ever been to. 
 

2022 was nowhere near as bad. Atmosphere was way more like a normal Leeds. 
 

2023 I didn’t go. 
 

2024 I didn’t see any d*ck head behaviour at all either in the arena or the campsites (and I had a walk around nearly every campsite over the course of the weekend). All of the aggro characters had been replaced with bored ones. 
 

I don’t think booking Travis Scott would attract any different a crowd to who turns up any other year in recent years, tbh. The festival is already full of his target audience. Travis Scott and Eminem? Maybe, who knows? I’m not so sure, myself.

Agree with all this, would add that 2023 was a step down again from 2022 and 2024 was absolutely fine. Didn’t see any trouble at all either in the arena or campsites at Leeds, it’d was just chilled to the point of being boring but the stage closures didn’t help.
