Fontaines are clearly not at the level of those 3 acts, they need more time to appropriately judge.

BMTH and The 1975 however definitely could be about in 20 years

I didn’t include BMTH and The 1975 as been around for a while (was trying to adhere to Chad’s logic in his original post) but aye they absolutely will be there in 20 years and rightly so

His original post made no sense, according to Chad green day broke out in 2004!

Big fan of the ciggies making a comeback. They just look so much cooler than vaping.

Even as a non-smoker I'm with you all the way. I hate the nicotine dummies that are so so easy for kids to use and suck on 24/7 inside and out like the latest fidget spinners.

Bring back the ciggies. It's vintage, it's retro, it's nostalgic and it does look cool.

Very unconvinced by Sabrina Carpenter.

In a market that's saturated at the moment with Disney pop-punk females, she's trying to stand out by sucking imaginary dicks on stage. That's not a good sign for how she's stacking up against the others in her lane (Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, Arianna Grande, Gracie Abrams, Billie Eilish, Addison Rae, Gigi Perez and many more).

We need an announcement, we’re going round in circles. Their twitter has started being more active again, hopefully a sign that they’re ramping up for an early December reveal.

I’m think we’ll be on for an early December release. All the Superstruct festivals will have been announced by then so I’m sure they won’t want to wait much longer. Wonder how sales have been so far with the loyalty discount

Sziget said early December so would expect R&L around the same time. Hopefully early next week.

I stopped smoking a few years ago (never used to smoke loads, maybe 1-2 per day, and lots more when drinking) and I packed in vaping unless I’m drinking back in Feb. I can’t wait for them to ban disposable vapes. They’re awful things.

I still just the cigs out for special occasions, like festivals and holidays abroad. There’s just something so satisfying about sitting in the sun and lighting a cig after a meal. Love it.

We’ve not had a white girl pop star who just loves being a white girl pop star like Sabrina does for a little while. She can do what she wants on stage. She isn’t a Disney star anymore. She’s a 25 year old woman. If people listen to her music and don’t realise it’s all about shagging and want to take their kids to see her, that’s on them if they see some arse and some suggestive gestures.

People need to get a grip, this isn’t the 1950s; a pop star throwing ass isn’t going to ruin your children’s childhood.

Boardmasters just announced, is Raye really headliner status? Shows the full when she heads there but plays 3rd down at R&L.

She was still blowing up for that R&L slot.

She headlined R1 Big Weekend this year (alongside Coldplay and C&S, obviously a bit of a weird one) and then doing APE next year.

Its not that unreasonable imo - she's definitely bigger than Jorja Smith who headlined when i went and arguably Lorde too

Raye is a perfectly acceptable headliner for a fest of that size.

Maybe the festival of pre-covid, but in the last few they've got some cracking headers.

Last year we had Stormzy 3 years after heading R&L, and Sam Fender a year after his headline set, along with Chase & Status who you amongst others hyped up as big 3 headliner possibility this year.

2023 we had Liam Gallagher, 2 years after and 1 year before his R&L headline sets, Florence & the Machine a couple years after she topped Glastonbury outright.

Having R&Ls 3rd down and Chevron headliner as this years seems a little of a step back.
