Well that pisses all over the rumoured Travis Scott, Chappell Roan, Hozier and Central Cee. I would not pay to see any of those artists and Leeds will struggle this year if that is the line up. Yes some of these artists have many plays on Spotify and yes they sell well for their own gigs, though how many Travis or Chappell Roan fans are going to want to camp in a windy field in Wetherby!

Felt very similar with MGMT, both acts had very commercially “fun” successful albums in 2018/2019 and then released very low-key quiter/bleaker albums. The hype for both albums was high these last few years but both were met with a very muted response and I haven’t seen much discussion of either since.

MGMT album didn't even chart in the UK or US apparently. Although I think based on how they went about Congratulations back in the day, they don't seem to care much about commercial success

I reckon Chappell will be a big draw as she only played medium sized venues last year and resale tickets were approaching a grand. Travis will be a draw as well obviously. Not sure on Hozier but I can't imagine Central Cee having that kind of fanbase

In my friend group, she’s the current white whale, we all missed out on London and Manchester dates and are contemplating the Copenhagen date if she is not at Reading.

This will be most people’s first opportunity to see Chappell Roan with her rising so fast and playing the likes of Manchester Academy most recently, it’ll be a sell out day. I’ll have to plan my bar and food trips accordingly on the day!

I wholeheartedly agree with this. It would be my fiancee's and I first time seeing Chappell and if/when she's announced are definitely planning our day and making sure we see her. As for Central Cee and Hozier though, not bothered in the slightest. See you in the guest bar 😂
