Slightly related question: if my friend has a campervan ticket, am I able to pitch a tent next to their campervan or do I also need to buy some kind of special ticket?

Don’t get me started on this mate, we’ve done it years at Leeds and it was fine every year until 2024. If you turn up in your mates van you’ll be fine, they’ll give you a quiet/eco camp paper wristband free of charge which also gets you into the van field. If you try walk into the quiet/eco field without the wristband the security staff guarding the quiet/eco and campervan field gates will be all jobsworth about it. Maybe just buy a quiet camp ticket to be on the safe side, no additional cost I believe. This might all change again next year though and maybe different at Reading. At Leeds walking access to the van field is through the quiet camp only. Fine to pitch the tent next to the vans if you can get in though.

Three in Newcastle does make you think no Scottish date. He’s had some right stick for playing 15 songs at £80 a go on this tour.

Tbf Newcastle to Glasgow is still a 3 hour drive. Less close than it looks on the map ha.

I guess we'll find out in two hours or so.

I've got tix for Saturday in Manchester and looked on setlist.fm this morning and saw he'd played 15 songs in Dublin (inc two unreleased ones and the Spice/Aldi mix) and wondered whether it was £80 well spent or not.

Falling In Reverse have had the same criticism this week, not that Ronnie Radke cares 😂

Neither did anyone else in the TRNSMT thread judging by how that went down.

The big festivals in UK and Europe seem to be really struggling this year to find acts big enough to shift weekend tickets.  It's £350 plus these days and the line ups are shocking though I guess you can only book what is available and many acts are more interested in doing there own thing.

For Leeds, are people going to pay £140-175 to see Travis Scott or Chappell Roan in a location in the middle of nowhere?

I'm 50 and wouldn't pay to see any of the above list apart, and last year went along with 10 x 23 year olds (who have been attending for several years) and none of them are interested in going next year based on rumours.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out, for R&L they seemed to take a step forward last year with the line up and now taking two steps back.....

Considering Travis has done it already a few years back and people were paying a grand to watch Chappell Roan earlier this year? Yes they will pay that

to be completely honest, what will occur on Thursday on social media will be the inevitable, "This used to be a rock festival", and the problem is that unless they somehow booked BMTH, it'll be looking more like wireless than that. Personally, if they have got Travis as the replacement for the Foo Fighters that's excellent regarding the speed at which that had to be done, but Dave Grohl shagging about has thoroughly f**ked up what was probably going to be the Rock Day when they played.

Safe to say it can’t be much worse than TRNSMT but I really am dreading it being a Wireless 2.0 - unless they have somehow booked Bmth or Muse (who haven’t shown up anywhere else in the UK)

Yeah this is what I'm scared about too. BMTH would be an excellent booking and hoping so. Would absolutely love Muse but just can't see it.

Seems like we're pulling at strings until the official announcement 😅

I'm not sure if anyone has seen this tweet but seemingly line up announcement on Thursday?

I can't believe this twitter account still exists, it was horrific about 4 years ago when it was stealing every bit of content and fake itk news and posting as if it was their own exclusive.

Dan Hancoxs sh*t sandwich news was always a delight to see it wind up on there and the teenagers reactions to it
