Nah, they are pretty good. I haven't had to queue in years (and that's getting on-site first thing and leaving right at the end). I don't drink but my husband is usually fairly swift at the bar. There's Cider (There was a little Thatchers Garden this year) Pimms I have seen dotted about, there used to be a Pimms bus etc. And worst case you can nip out the festival to Palmerston Road for a cheaper cocktail or even a tinny from the Sainsburys!
I tend to use the kids toilets, but then I am a very seasoned festival goer and my standards of toilet are probably a lot less than others. Haha!
Muse are going to be ethier doing a few routes here. I know there recording as they’ve been seen going in and out of Air Studios with Dan Lancaster but this could just be warmups for the Middle East. I did think there was a chance they could do a warmup show in the UK but there flying at the moment so that won’t be happening now. I don’t think Muse will ever fall from Headline Status. I think there going to be one of those bands that could always announce 2 nights at the o2 and also do quite big venues but couldn’t do a Wembley anymore. Saying that if they did 1 show and it was just Wembley I recon they could do it. I do agree ST and WOTP weren’t strong. The simulation show at the O2 that was filmed was incredible live. I mean at the end of the day they still sell out stadiums and are more a legacy band now. I do hope this album is f**king insane and maybe a big more commercial but I don’t think it will be. At the end of the day the boys have done it all. They got massive very quickly and are still massive. There a band that will always have a big enough fan base to sell out pretty much anything within reason as they are a stadium arena band. I mean when they do a small show they sell out quicker then anything. Next year I don’t think they will do a festival I think it’s going to be a like a one of show or maybe a request show.
Being on a train back from London full of fans who'd been to his Spurs stadium show did make me think there would be an appetite for his stuff.
I'd been across town seeing The Killers, I add. I wasn't even aware he had his stadium show until then.
Chappell is subbing Olivia. That’s the info, from various places. Yes having two pop girls back to back is a little obvious, but it’s the most suitable place for her so f**k it. Wouldn’t be the first time by a long stretch that the sub/headliner combo has been two incredibly similar acts or ones with similar fanbases. Didn’t see anybody raise an eyebrow at Noel subbing Macca.
