Manchester last night was class! Very very good performance and electric atmosphere. For what it’s worth I was in the minority as a middle aged woman and the crowd standing with me near the front were all early 20s. So I think he has a chance of pulling a decent crowd at Glastonbury. When I saw him on the Pyramid stage two years ago it was the same demographic. I’m not sure he’s headliner though and I say that as someone who adores his music! I wonder if he’ll be the second last on Sunday?
when I was a young man and I used to go Glastonbury for a lot less money (like zero) I didn't give a flying f**k about headliners and missed most of them and seemed to spend most of it sitting down chatting bollocks to people during day and either wandering around in a confused state or dancing outside chip vans at night and had the best time ever but missed the all time classic headliners that people still talk about and in hindsight I wish I'd seen.
But, now it's a lot more money, and I demand value for money, and I can't be dancing outside a chip van all night at my age.
