Their 2 last albums have good publicity in press, and are more "main public".
Try singles like " not the only one", "apologies" or the last one , "leave a light on", you'll understand immediately 😉
Absolutely blows my mind that a festival the size of Sziget would consider Papa Roach to be suitable to be a sub. Have they been more successful in mainland europe than the UK?
Just checked and they've had three Top 40 singles in the UK, the last of which was almost 23 years ago.
Their last album got to number 36, five years ago.
I agree it could be a slow burn and will get there in the end. With the price of tickets these days I am reluctant to buy early and get lots at the same time. I have bought my tickets for this but other stuff like The Offspring, I just think they are not going to sit on my money for a year and I will wait and try to but nearer the time.
