Radio silence from R&L on socials does make me wonder when we are due this lineup. Even last year when they only announced it was happening the day of I seem to recall them being online and posting beforehand.

I’d bet on it being early December, traditional timing. I couldn’t have less enthusiasm for this year’s announcement if I tried 😂

I'm more excited for the lineup reveal for other festivals than the one I actually have tickets to. A lot of festivals seem to have announced earlier than usual, if they go too late i think people will go elsewhere but hey it is what it is.

He sold out a massive stadium here this summer in quick time. It is a massive booking. His booking at Coachella has no bearing. He is closing the night out that he is playing though so he is essentially a headliner with his own line to himself on the poster. I can’t think of many acts who will go down better with the core R&L crowd. He’s massive with young’uns. They will implode during Fein.

I went to a show elsewhere in London on the day of his Spurs stadium date without knowing it was that day and my train home was full of so many people who'd been there for it.

Different to my vibe. Saw a bit of him playing before Depeche Mode at Lollapalooza Paris, thought he was meh, and when I came back to get a spot for DM, noted he'd finished quite a bit early.

I'm fairly sure he's playing before Post Malone and the information on the leak for it was that Travis would take the stage before Post..

He did one stadium, Tottenham and the co-op arena.

To be honest if he's not going to do well at Spurs something is wrong.

You can’t downplay someone selling out a 60-70k stadium in hours. You just can’t.

I thought you put stadium tour rather than stadium so that's my bad there. Just to be clear though, that night didn't sell 60-70k, it was closer to 50k. Still a lot to sell out in 25 minutes. It was obviously capped.

He would clearly be a massive seller for Reading. Him and Roan on the same day would sell pretty much instantly I imagine

People really misuse the term ‘industry plant’.

He’d never released anything before his first single? Mental that.

Literally nothing. He was on the talk show circuit interviewing on his upcoming album, a year before that was released and a few months before his first single was released.

Before he had any singles or anything, he was being put on tracks with Gucci Mane, Ilovemakkonen, 50 Cent etc.

His appearance on the scene was not natural.

However Post Malone, Eminem, Travis Scott as your 3 headliners, that's Wireless territory, and I hate to stereotype but that will bring a horrendous type of attendee to the festival.

Surely you're looking more at BMTH, Eminem and Travis/Post. Central C and Chappel Roan.

It isn't BMTH, and I doubt Eminem either. Those were both names that people threw out as filler alongside names we'd heard.

It won’t be three rap headliners, it’ll be one main headliner. It generally follows a theme of Indie x2 and a combination of:

Rock

Pop

Rap
