They definitely burned the money (some burned remains washed up on a beach) and I don't think they themselves really know why. Thanks for the nod on the book front. I've had a look at the site, briefly, and like a fair amount of the artwork, I was wondering if anyone also when viewing the first artist on the list (Harry Adams) first shown piece initially made them think that the clouds resembled a part of the Turin Shroud? Or is that my exposure to Roman Catholicism kicking in, I wonder?

The chime of the van is a KLF choon. The last I knew the van is stashed over in Birkenhead at a venue called Future Yard.

Your answer got me wondering if it had its roots in 'The Matrix' with the decision to take the blue pill ( blissful ignorance) or the red pill (accepting a painful reality). Then I looked up black pills and came across this; The term "Black Pill" is often used in online communities, particularly in certain corners of the internet like incel forums and certain extremist groups. The Black Pill refers to a belief system that is characterized by extreme pessimism, hopelessness, and a nihilistic outlook on life. In the context of incel communities, the Black Pill ideology often involves the belief that certain individuals are inherently disadvantaged in terms of attractiveness or social status, and that these perceived disadvantages are insurmountable and determine a person's fate in terms of relationships and success in life. This can lead to feelings of anger, resentment, and a sense of powerlessness. It's important to note that the Black Pill ideology is considered by many to be harmful and toxic, as it can promote feelings of despair, self-loathing, and even violence. It is often associated with misogyny and other harmful attitudes towards women. If you or someone you know is struggling with feelings of hopelessness or negativity, it's important to seek help from a mental health professional or a trusted individual who can provide support and guidance. This could go anywhere.
