NorthernSoul52
I know it is for sponsorship reasons, but this might be the best-named festival in Europe, especially if sung to the tune of Rick James' Super Freak.

Their european tour ends 2 weeks before Nos Alive, and SBSR is after Nos Alive. It would make no sense they do an all tour, and for some reason, like 3 weeks after the tour, do just one date in Portugal. Most bands usually play in Spain, during the weekend they paly in Portugal (there are expcetions, of course), and all their spanish dates are 1 month before Nos Alive and SBSR. Green Day won't come to Portugal in 2024, the same way Muse and Depeche Mode went everywhere, besides Portugal in 2023
Haz3ly_MC
I agree, looks like Green Day won't be swinging by Portugal in 2024.
Daniel Ferreira
I believe Royal Blood will go to SBSR I also see Yungblud as a possibility, it went well when they came to Portugal. I don't know if Avril Lavigne, at the end of mad cool, wants to spend a vacation here and perform in SBSR. 🤣 Edited December 13, 2023 by Daniel Ferreira

Dudex14
Strong possibility that there is no 2025 edition. The winter edition has already been cancelled and the summer one can follow the same route

The promoter that used to run SBSR ended its partnership with Super Bock. The brand SBSR belongs to Super Bock ans they said that festival will happen, with a different partner. No more info by the moment. If it will stay in its actual venue, don't know. But you already have dates (18-20 July 2025) so, it will happen. VERY interesting to see who will start running the festival then , doubt Everything is New will do it since its so close to NOS alive. Ritmos & Blues (now affiliated with Live nation) is the only one i can see grabbing it since PEV Entertainment does Mares Vivas usually during the same weekend Edited October 24 by just_one
