How strict are EOTR on campervan space?

They seem to indicate you can only have a small awning, do they mark spaces / park vans close together or are they more relaxed on the day?

Image of our usual awning attached - is this too much for the standard pitch?

They do mark spaces, but they are pretty generous. You will be fine.

From my experience, EOTR can be a bit strict when it comes to campervan space. They do have guidelines on the size of awnings allowed, and they may mark spaces or park vans close together. Your usual awning might be pushing it a bit for a standard pitch. It's always better to double-check with EOTR directly to be sure. Cheers! 🚐🏕️

there is 1 gate

depends what you mean by good.

I wouldn't want to be too near the toilets / showers.

Its one big flat field so there is no difference apart from walking time and we are only talking 1-2 minutes. The field is never anywhere near full and there is usually a bit of leeway and shuffling around unless you're a d*ck about it.

I like to get there at opening, or before,  as they start filling up in the corner near the festival entrance.

This is also near the toilets/showers which we find rather handy.

Bringing a van for the first time this year. Is it straightforward leaving the site for a while during the weekend and then getting back to your spot?

yes

you could lose your space, leave some chocks / chairs there or something

Has anyone had any experience of parking a car next to a van on a large CV pitch? We have 2 friends both with a van and both booked large pitches. One who has been before says he has seen cars parked within van pitches. Just wondering if anyone knows if this is possible.

Thanks.
