Yes, in 2022 (having done campervans or caravans for many years, but as my ticket was bought in the resale I was too late to rent a van).  I'm an old git and was going to be coming by coach and knew I couldn't carry my other stuff as well as a tent and something to kip on.

As @Mich1268 said I regularly visited to ensure I could get something.  So first up I paid for a bell tent in Sticklinch and then set myself a page monitor.  Thankfully during the day at work if it went off I could pop up the page and see what they had on offer, it did take a number of visits before I got myself a 4 person bunkpad (which I chose as that included bunkbeds, so all we needed to bring were sleeping bags).  The date I got one was Friday, April 22, 2022 1:30 PM

As for facilities - they had actual flushing toilets, with a queue system which was most of the time really well managed (someone standing by the front of the queue directing the next person when one was available), plus other folks who were checking they were OK and even cleaning or replenishing bog roll - honestly it was the nicest loos I've seen on the farm in nearly 40 years.  They also had quite a few showers - pretty busy at peak times, clearly many of the attendees are scrupulously clean these days, but later in the day would be easy to nip in.  They had a handful of food and drink stalls (but I believe less than WV), the ones that did a fancy coffee or more sophisticated breakfast had a bigger queue, but if you wanted a bacon butty and brew there was a very small queue.  No bar in Sticklinch, that year there was one in Carmageddon, so not sure how far it was to the nearest last year as that had gone.

Which page monitor did you use, and which page were you monitoring, because you have to put in your reg number to get into the page that list the tents.

Yes there is, make sure you park in one of the car parks on the east side of the festival - otherwise it's a very long walk.

You can get wristbanded at Ped Gate C once the festival fates open on Weds.

just checking on this. If I arrive later on Wednesday and park in east car parks to then camp next to my friends campervan. Do I need a campervan wristband to access the campervan site at night after music or is it just a normal Glastonbury wrist band that you get when you first enter the festival? Hopefully that question makes sense

Normal wristband which will be the same as the ones your friends have. They will get in the same gate as you. The queue to gate C goes through the campervan fields. What you will need is your ticket your wrist band and a special pass they give you every time you go out of the festival back to the campervan and your tent. Sound more complex than it actually is but don’t lose ticket or pass

Campervan wristbands don't exist, anyone can enter the campervan fields - you don't even need a festival wristband.

I'm afraid my memory is not great and I've had a look, but don't have a record of how I was alerted.

Hopefully somebody will pop up who has faced the dilemma and is more sensible 😉

The yurts & bell tents - I'm assuming you don't get a bed of any description with those?

It's essentially empty and you're paying for the yurt/tent itself?

Correct. You only get something like that in podpads at WV/Sticklinch

Wow got in at 09:02 and no 2 person tents left at all. Only 4 person. And they have all gone now as well

We kept refreshing and managed to get a 2 man scout tent in Sticklinch that suddenly popped up as available. Booking completed at 11.13. Fingers crossed for you that more become available in the next few weeks

I got one at 11:22. Was bonkers how fast tents were coming and going in that 22 mins. Couldn't click fast enough. But just refreshed and refreshed and got one. Very relieved.

Hi Everyone, I’m trying to get a tent in either worthy view or sticklinch, tried in the resale but failed! Iv read through this thread and seems I could still get one if I keep checking.

if someone has successfully used a page monitor previously, could you please let me know which one it was? Iv never used one before and would love to get one set up as I’m desperate to secure some accommodation for the festival!! 😊

I've used Distill to monitor for Oxfam places, the paid for version is better than the free one.

Just went to book parking for Sticklinch and it's coming up as "unavailable."

Worthy View is available.

I very much presume this is just a temporary glitch.... Definitely seen people paying on the gate in previous years too.

I emailed See, Sticklinch parking is sold out. They advised to keep looking, but otherwise suggested using the west car parks. Other people have said they paid £50 cash on the gate last year
