Bristol Airport Arrival - Weds 9.45am

Hi Everyone, 

Getting very excited now for next year, haven't been since 2017. Just 2 of us going this year, in previous years has been a larger group and have got taxis easy enough which also stopped off for supplies which worked well. 

This year we will likely book a coach from the airport I think, but I was wondering if we need to grab food, drinks perhaps some camping gear from somewhere before heading down would there be anywhere near the airport we could go or would we need to go into Bristol before getting the coach? 

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Bristol Airport is in a rural location with little surrounding. If you want to pick up any supplies you need to head into the city.

Tbh I'd suggest if you need a tent, I'd recommend if you can stretch to it keep your eyes peeled for Sticklinch or WV and get a pre-erected one...they will come up again.

Another good option would be post on here closer to the time and arrange to share a cab with others coming in around the same time, then do what you normally do.

Get cab to stop off in Shepton or Taunton on the way to get some supplies. Bear in mind you'll have to get bus from Bath and Wells Showground (where taxi drop off is) to get to site so there is a bit of lugging to be done.

Alternatively book National Express and get dropped off right next to the gates. Just bring spirits in your checked baggage and get mixers at the Coop and get occasional beer onsite.
