sisco
I’ve just seen when it reaches tier 5 it’s a £350 festival 😂😂😂. Wow

The Prodigy stick out as a very odd booking to go for considering the choices.

Expand The Prodigy are a completely fine pick - boardmasters like to get a dance headliner and they also tick off having a band at the same time. The issue is central cee and raye being the other two - need one of them and then someone more established i think

Expand in terms of a acts, I would take this festival over Isle of Wight any day of the week. it is the second worst value for money line up for the year. CanWeRest
Just saw on Newton Faulkner's Facebook that he was on the same day as Furtado. Me thinks he has a crush.

Expand Ah I'd you take The Prodigy off of Boardmasters I think it's the worst big festival lineup of the year without any doubt. I think IOW pisses all over it and I'm not even a big Phonics fan but I'll listen to them all day over RAYE, Central Cee, London Grammar and Bloody Wet Leg lol. It's a a shockingly bad lineup but that's subjective for me. I'll quite happily watch 8 og 9 of the top 3 fpr IOW and 3 of the Big Top. That doesn't have to be everyone's opinion though. Truth is if you have a massive divide like that then one festival is just clearly more to your liking and one isn't. I'd probably not attend IOW due to logistics of getting there but having to choose one there's not comparison for me

Expand That's fine if that's what you feel and you're entitled but I don't see them as good options, not for me at all which I also fine. As i said, with the amount of no interest in it, its clearly for a complete different event goer which is fine. Thats where different events have different options. Massive turn around in two years though from Lorde, Liam and Florence and even 2022 but they'll do what sells which is fine. That wouldn't happen though with playing Glastonbury as well. No one has ever done the superstruct smaller one's, Victorious and Glastonbury and they aren't this year. Victorious doesn't sell nearly as quick

Again though for some that will be a strong year, given what they booked the years either side it may be a one off.

Expand No stronger really than any of the other post covid fests besides this year. 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 had 2 fairly established headliners and then a smaller one (Jorja Smith / Lorde and you could argue all three in 2022 / 2024 were pretty established). This year has Central Cee and Raye, two unestablished headliners who are on the rise and The Prodigy who are a smaller name than any of the 2022-2024 established headliners and don't exactly hold it together
