I've had a tough time recently with my Mum passing away on Friday. I'd been her primary carer for the last few years and although I'd tried for tickets every year since 2017 it often felt like a relief when I didn't get them as there was a lot of organising to put into place if I went.Â
With everything going on organising to try for tickets was a bit last minute. We didn't even get a list of 6 people, just 4. One of those was with his Mum in London who had just had a heart by-pass and was waiting for a hire car to drive home (long story). Past experience meant that I didn't allow myself to get my hopes up but when the process started I was through the queue process in about 5 mins.Â
I actually got really emotional and was crying when I was able to share the news to the group. There was talk of divine intervention at play. It's been a awful week and there are plenty of tough things to come but I have this to look forward to now and it's a massive deal.
I had two devices going at the start but closed one down when I could see the other progressing up the queue. I got the access denied but did one refresh and was through.
