Crazyfool01
Had a listen to the new Coldplay album in full at a listening event last night … we pray and it feels like I’m falling in love definately feel like the strongest tracks on that album and i love Elyanas vocals … first and last track are sort of instrumental and I’d possibly say tracks 8 and 9 are a bit more uplifting and the ones that might also do ok . Excuse me forgetting track titles

I’m a long way from being an expert critique in these things 🙂

Then you should feel guilty

st dan
Wow, the debut from Geordie Greep (Black Midi) is absolutely incredible! So much going on in there, but my word it’s excellent chaos. I’ll be shocked if it doesn’t end up as my AOTY. Edited October 4 by st dan
CaledonianGonzo
The single is certainly quite something.

Not sure it quite all works, but it's unlike anything else I've heard this year ever. Got to admire the vision if nothing else. Hoping he's a lock-in for EOTR next year. Mardy
Going to be a punchy old morning at the record shop, Aphex Twin reissue, Geordie Greep, the Smile, Caribou etc. That OneDa album is pretty decent too Edited October 5 by Mardy
CaledonianGonzo
I expect the Momus-eque louch lounge lizard persona will start to grate after a while.

Acid_Haze
Liking the newest Floating Points album. His modular synths sound amazing - love the way he uses them to create such beautiful textures and soundscapes, it's a bit more dancy than the last one with Pharoah Sanders, though he manages to still keep it flowy and a bit hypnotic like the last one. Went from not knowing a whole lot to being a fan when he stepped in late doors at EOTR this year on the Sunday night. Great gig.

Agreed this album is a dream. Park sub would be ideal.
NorthernSoul52
Given they've headed out with Iron Maiden themselves, this cover of The Trooper by The Hu has got some proper swagger to it.
