Labour: FPTP no change; House of Lords no change; Trident no change; 2 Child Cap no change; Council Tax valuation no change; Income Tax no change; Anti Immigration no change; Support for Nuclear Power no change; Make Brexit work no change.

But, hey vote Labour for change.

Labour will be judged by what they do in power and not whats written in a manifesto. I guess at this point the strategy is not do anything to upset anyone and let the Tory’s kill  themselves.

oh well that voxpop confirms it, all 16 years olds are nasty xenophobic fascists....unlike all the nice older people.

I think 16 year olds today are (in general) more tolerant and politically aware than when I was young. My 14 year old told me she is voting against Rishi because he wants to shorten school holidays and take away their smartphone , but I am working on her!

I think voting age is quite subjective and 16 seems fine to me. I also think it’s fine to do it purely for political gain, no different to the Torys and voter ID.

I am ok with 16 year olds voting too. It is their future after all. I imagine turnout amongst them would be low, but doesn't mean they shouldn't be given the right to vote. Yes they won't have the same life experience as older voters, but they will likely be a lot better educated than many of them. At same time I do understand why some people are against it, because on the whole 16 year olds are c**ts. I was a massive c**t when I was 16, but by the time I was 18 I was very cool.

It will be my kid's first general election vote. She'll be voting Reform and I'll be voting Green...as it should be.
