Could Arlo Parks have played WH? And BBC played Woodsies? And does that mean IDLES would have subbed ... Madonna? That doesn't make a great deal of sense either.

Did anyone watch Grace Petrie play the acoustic stage yesterday? She said playing Glastonbury this year left her £1,000 out of pocket. -

She isn’t from the UK, but the issue affects her rights directly. Also the US is a global superpower, so its influence across the world is far greater than, for example, Ireland. She wasn’t the only person performing that weekend to bring it up either. Ireland is a Catholic majority country, the UK is not. So no, I don’t really consider their view on abortion rights to be comparable to the UK despite how close they may be in Geography. -
Ah man, thanks so much guys! What a lovely community you have here. It is looking like Green man is the one then.. I will take a look at that now. It is not too far from me either (Bristol) which is another huge appeal of Glasto of course, just down the road.

Just thinking, as the headline size acts have social media teams who’s job it is is to increase exposure to as big an audience as possible - and that coupled with the fact that everybody has access to streaming these days, do acts still need to roll over to the festival and accept lesser fees in return for the exposure? Is that even still relevant a relevant angle in this day and age, or have the bookers now lost this bargaining chip, which has held them so dear over the years?
