Squeaky bum time! I feel like I did just before kick off in the FA Cup Final a few weeks ago. Thankfully that one worked out well.

Decision which channel to watch - was gonna go with channel 4, but they've got Nadine Dorries & Anne Widdecombe on their panel so I've changed my mind!

Yeah the 13 for Reform...ooof. Farage is going to be gurning and hectoring all night.

Yeah, only a poll of course...but that would take them to about same number as lib dem now. That is a big deal,a big deal for the future of the Tories. I think helps labour in long term, right is split.

Joking aside I do feel he should be on here tonight as this is what he's dreamed off / talked about for the past 5 years.

I can't help but feel a bit 'meh' about it all... f**king hate the Tories so should be screaming from the hills but never been a fan of Keir.  When I was voting it reminded me of Brewsters Millions... 'none of the above'.

But...that really is a ridiculously massive win for labour. Is it biggest ever?

418 in 1997, so almost but not quite.

Unless one counts the odd 1931 "government of national unity" where 4 parties banded together to make a 500+ seat government.

If we hadn't had all the MRP polls we'd be flabbergasted...but feels a bit anti climatic almost

Agreed, it takes the 'wow' drama out of it, but not going to complain given the result.

It's been a strange one in some respects. Genuinely feel like I've paid more attention to the US and French elections of late with all that hysteria those two bring along. But maybe there's a case of the Tories expected to do badly from the word go that the campaign felt like it went around in circles.

Probably should stop drinking now - at least until some of the horrible c**ts start losing their seats.

It's like Dave Grohl coming on stage going "It's gonna be a long night motherf**kers", as was his stock intro on their tour just done.

contact him and get him back for the night. he dedicated 4 years of his life to pro-starmer posts on here, he needs to be here for Starmer becoming PM!

Yep, it would be good to have him say that tories aren't "playing on easy mode" anymore, with a big smile on his face.
