That's interesting, what area of the country are you?

Around here it's all the 'old boys' that are very pro reform, most of the youngsters I know are very anti Farage, and see him and his supporters as fascist dinosaurs.

The worry for me is that Reform/ Farage have realised they need to throw the electorate a bone. I’ve also seen young men advocate for them, but they’re often keen to say they don’t want to throw anyone out. They do however like a much higher tax allowance and the idea of majority public ownership of public utilities.

Farage is currently combining media goodwill (mail, sun, express, etc…) with policies that wouldn’t look out of place in a Corbyn manifesto and that’s a dangerous combination once Labour have disappointed with their lack of progress and further disaffection come 2028.

If Starmer doesn't impress as a PM and pull some fat rabbits out of the threadbare manifesto hat then it's a real concern when thinking about the impact Farage could have in stirring things up and maneuvering to secure a populist right wing swing come the next election. Could be bleak.

Hope the media don't continue to underestimate him. He might be a pint sized Trump, but he's adept enough to play the same tricks Trump does with possibly the same impact.
