I think it already has...if big donors to the party want him gone, he will go. I think a few weeks ago he was seen as the best option, but that debate changed everything. Whatever they do there is a risk, but if they stick with him they're going to have to keep him out of the limelight as much as poss...just stick him in a load of ads where he looks totally on it. -

Yeah him being the incumbent is a big advantage, but not sure how many more senior moments (and bad ones, at that) they can really handle at this point. Trump’s relative silence (compared to how he usually is, anyway) on the matter says it all really - his team have definitely told him to cool the attack rhetoric and let Biden f**k this all up by himself.
