They need to reunite the centre right and right to win. I'm not sure Reform want it at the moment. They think they can replace the Tories by taking votes from them and Labour.

right wing MPs now have to choose which one they think could beat Cleverly with members...which is probably Badenoch.

at best the next leader is William Hague, at worst Michael Howard.

Cleverly may win over some centristy moderate voters back from Lib Dem and Labour...Badenoch I guess might win some from Reform...and even then not sure. Badenoch is smart, but she would be a bit of a gamble and will likely not last that long. I think the smart/dull choice is Cleverly. Whoever gets in how they get on is how long and how bad Labour keep f**king up...and I think it's going to get worse tbh.
