The right wing press you expect it from but it happens all the time in the guardian and the bbc too. What purpose does it serve other than to present a completely biased load of bollocks dressed up as a counterpoint?

because its the truth? People don't appear to be too happy paying £6/£7 a pint when supermarkets have deals on and the increased costs will probably hasten the demise of alot of places. We can say fine, these sort of businesses are a thing of past but then we need to decide what our town centres are for. They really don't look too hot currently with all the bordered up bars and shops that have been priced out of the market with higher costs than the supermarkets and internet retailers.

It's a radical budget..lots of money being thrown around...could work well with improving services and a growing economy, or really could go tits up with meagre growth and job losses and working people feeling these tax rises after all.
