three more hostages being released by Hamas...all three are men...two look pretty young. Does that mean there aren't any women and children left alive? I'm guessing when dead bodies are handed over that is most likely when things start to break down, Hamas are still there, they want to stay there, Israel don't want them there but at same time they are useful in keeping Gaza and West Bank under separate rule and keeping any idea of a two state solution truly dead. Hamas leading a completely f**ked and broken Gaza is probably next best thing to the Trump idea of clearing them all out.

No, Republicans are doing what they do best and inventing problems that they can then "fix". I think the Canada one will be much more difficult to row back on considering the amount of sh*t-talk going on, and Canada already retaliating with their own tariffs. Trump maybe chose a side to let off the hook, North or South, and took a look at his vote-base - chose South.

Canada tarrifs potentially more damaging to US economy though, and also to five eyes and all that stuff?

I wouldn't be surprised if there is some sort of deal later...same with China, same with EU...but we'll see. Trump likes to disrupt, likes to throw around some chaos, but he isn't stupid and probably doesn't want to start a global recession.

Intriguing what comes out of these talks. Trump wants this situation done and dusted, he wants to be a peacemaker, he wants that nobel peace prize, but then again he talks about clearing out Gaza. Netanyahu will have pressure from Trump, but also pressure at home from hostage families to continue the ceasefire, and pressure from members of his own government to end the ceasefire.

Let's hope Trump really wants that peace prize.
