So what's the strategy, kill everyone?

”We’re surrounded by genocidal maniacs who want to erase us from the map” says Israel as it commits genocide to attempt to erase its enemies from the map.

Files in the bin alongside hamas headquarters in hospitals

well..up to you...some people think that pallywood is a thing.

I'm sticking with there's no good guys or bad guys in this...just lots of civilian lives getting destroyed and one side being far superior (militarily/financially).

so how quickly could / would Kamala start putting her stamp on things ? could any of this be coming from her ? ...... obviously if trump gets in it will be irrelevant ? does she get a say in the interim period between a win and her becoming president ?

Trump will fix it, him and Netanyahu have already done the deal.

graphic photos on social media of a dead body that looks like Sinwar.

If they've got him it may hopefully bring the end of the war closer, but I'll be cracking open the champers in any case.

Kind of hoped they'd catch him alive and find out what his actual intention for the Hamas attacks was.

I think Hamas's motivation was much the same as Al Qaeda's motivation for 9/11: an terrorist atrocity of such epic proportions that to not respond would be unthinkable.  This response would escalate into a war that pits the Islamic world against the West, and would ultimately weaken the West and enable the rise of Islamic fundamentalism throughout the Middle East and the Muslim world.  Israel ceasing to exist would be an important part of that.

I guess that could be ultimate goal!

Did he want Israel to respond in such a way that Israel would become a pariah state even amongst its allies, that Hezbollah would react and people would rise up in West Bank and that Iran would get involved leading ultimately to the destruction of Israel? Cause he was getting quite close to achieving that.

Or did he want Israel to agree to anything to get the hostages back seeing as they released over a 1000 prisoners (including Sinwar) just for one hostage in the past?

I was listening about Sinwar this morning, he really was a hard nutty fanatic.

Yes. The reason the ayatollahs in Iran have been arming and funding Hamas and Hezbollah is to achieve exactly this.

Moldova referendum on joining EU at tie! Lots of allegations of interference by Russia.

*On putting the ambition to rejoin the eu in the constitution. A subtley but massively different proposal.

I guess that it will bind any future government to the pathway to EU admission, including locking in the conservative fiscal rules that entails. I’d feel uncomfortable about it if I were Moldovan.

Hopefully Russia will invade and save them from the fascists.

Lol. Like the EU would do anything if Russia invaded. Most likely they’d be cheering from the sidelines. The EU loves a genocide.
