@eFestivalshi iggy - since the 'source' button has been removed from the edit box its now not possible to clear the edit box when using android (unless you post something you don't want to post!) would be great to have that functionality back again please.

Hi Neil, thanks for reporting this. I've tested on all devices and browsers I could find and I always see the 'clear editor' text at the bottom of the text editor as shown below. If you tap on that it will clear the old text. Please let me know if you don't see it.

thanks, i wasn't aware of that way of clearing i'll give it a try (when back on my phone; using desktop right now) (although isn't that only when you go back into the topic). I'm finding it frustrating  when I've quoted a post and started a reply and then want to discard what I've started (used to be able to delete it after using the 'source' button); the 'clear text' button when using a phone hasn't worked properly for quite a while, not sure since when, i didn't  used to use my phone often  for the forums)

i don't get that option on my phone. - get it on my desktop, where it doesn't matter cos there's other options for deleting an unwanted quote box.
