How are the sales for their Spurs and Cardiff shows going? London standing was sold out, but seats basically untouched, last I checked. NorthernSoul52
Sounds about right. Think Iron Maiden will have some similar difficulties with London Stadium, though most of the lower bowl is gone there.
thatTFBguy
All the ticketing sites now posting "SOLD OUT" for all dates including See and G+T, but I genuinely cannot find a single post from somebody who bought a ticket to any show on either site, what do we reckon happened here? They passed over their allocation to TicketMaster after admitting to the promoter that the websites were completely f**ked and not coming back online today? NorthernSoul52
Nah. Most likely they just had a hyper-limited allocation. SJM were putting on the Oasis shows, for example, so they had a larger portion perhaps.

They were reporting sold out for the arena dates so if nothing else some demand was there. Guess we'll see whether this was just biting off more than they could chew. At the very least I'd have thought if it was a UK exclusive date like when Depeche Mode played there in 2017 (or at least was until they announced 3 arena shows for later in the year), that might've helped. Yeah, exactly. I'd have sold that show first, then added the regionals. Looking this morning, Maiden have shifted more than I thought. Most of standing gone, lower bowl seats left are only hotel package ones, and the entire middle of the top tier at the rear - the cheap seats - are done and gone. Maybe six or seven thousand left? That's doable to shift between then and now. They might do it.

They’ve confirmed the 11th to be a musical and the final one to be self-titled. Chris Martin is known for blatant lies though (and they’re already behind schedule). NorthernSoul52
I kind of assume that if Album #12 is their last, it won't be the end of their touring days. Maybe they ultimately set up a residency approach, maybe they revert to the Stones formula and play only a dozen or so shows a year. But I cannot see it as the end. Haven’t watched the full interview but Martin basically says they’ll carry on touring, maybe doing some Anniversary tours etc. I bet they’ll do that and the things you mentioned. NorthernSoul52
We're getting to the stage where full album tours are still very much the vogue, along with The Eras Tour setting a template for those who wish to push the boat out on their shows. Let's not beat around the bush, we all know more than a few people who would sell their kidney to see A Rush of Blood to the Head in full. A thirtieth anniversary run behind that in 2032 - if we all get there! - seems pretty assured.

Have him pretending to walk down a beach for Yellow, then trying to do the Scientist walking backwards. Dress all in black and wear a curly wig for the X&Y stuff. They won’t be able to do it in chronological order though, as after a while it’s all just indistinguishable Neon apart from a sad face for Ghost Stories and nobody having any idea what the songs from Everyday Life are, or that it even exists. Coldplay Eras Tour would be amazing I think. I've not bothered with this one because I've already seen them 3 times on this tour, and there are going to be even more new tracks in next year's gigs you'd imagine. The best of the three was still the first one at Wembley 2022, mainly because they did Politik and In My Place. If I was guaranteed at least, say, 3 songs from each album I'd definitely be up for it, because added up there would probably be a good few lesser played ones. Spindles
They've put out an extended version of Moon music. I don't hate it. Their last record did nothing for me, and this album is no Everyday life (which I think was the best record of their later career) but it's not bad at all, the extra tracks on the extended version stand up as well as those on the album proper. NorthernSoul52
Extra copies to juice sales. They'll be worried Shed Seven are about to do them in.

It would be good if they did the albums in order and you could tag team them with someone who likes the new stuff. Hang around until it's time for Mylo Xyloto and give your seat up.
