I don't think Idles were due to play at all before the SZA promotion; IIRC they were originally labelled for some other fest as 'only fest date in UK in 2024'. -
beyond the “barter” tickets the festival has always sold/issued hospitality tickets to companies and organisations in the music industry (labels, agents, magazines, radio stations, promoters etc). It’s a big part of what made the festival an enormous industry event and almost certainly helped them to get some bands/industry support. It might be worth looking at this again as some of the recipients may be getting a bit tenuous (ad agencies, media buyers etc).

I brought up Ireland as the poster asked why I thought it was divisive. As an Irishman it was topical and recent, with 33% being a sizeable minority opinion. If we want to focus on the states, its even more divisive over there as I alluded to. So I was correct in my initial assertion to that other poster. On to what me and your good self are now talking about Abortion is legal in both states Olivia resides in . California her state of birth and NY where she has a gaf. She can still abort as many babies as she wants in her home town. And for what its worth, nobody goes to f**king Church in Ireland anymore. -

Busier than 2023. Less busy than 2022. Felt like walkways were busy 24/7 this year. Might have just been the programming on the pyramid meant more people were dotting about. I Only saw 2 pyramid acts this year compared to 12 last year…. -
No Game of Thrones crew this year? They used to get it. I wonder if they all buy cooperate tickets? I supposed you would if you had the opportunity
