clarkete
This is what spotify playlist analyser concluded from the list that @gigpusher had shared with me of a sample of acts on the stages released up to and including 16th (so significantly not including the stages from the last 24 hours. Make of that what you will 😉 The detail of their genres is here https://www.chosic.com/list-of-music-genres/

They were talking about being so skint while touring, they did a festival in Poland and could only get fish in milk in the artist area LOL. Lol 😆 Maybe it wasn't working out for them. Hoping they surprise us new music one day

But does anyone have any recommendations of other bands or solo artists with those sorts of sounds? Would really appreciate some tips (I promise to be nice, even if it's something I wouldn't like). Many thanks! Mark P.S. Does anyone know why Drenge stopped doing stuff? A sad loss. First discovered at William's Green - also a sad loss. Drenge were ace and I would say fit right in with today's guitar vibe

Is it personalised for each person? On the Spotify app it says "Made for (my name)", but it's also supposedly the official Glastonbury playlist. Mine is below. Electronic has jumped up massively, possibly since Shangri-La got announced? Edited April 22 by MEGATRONICMEATWAGON

wozwebs
I'm hoping The K's rock up somewhere. A number 3 album last week and tremendous live. Definitely 90's rock / indie as we know

MEGATRONICMEATWAGON
Just to get back on topic, and I don't know if it's what you mean by "guitar" music, but the running order of PJ Harvey > LCD Soundsystem > IDLES as it appears in the Clashfinder would be my Friday evening pretty much 99% tied up. Get into the top 10 songs they are most likely to play on setlist fm. Their live gigs tend to be an experience too. Also yeah i absolutely love Drenge, come back lads. CaledonianGonzo
Guitar music gets a bad rap these days and it's been a bit of a laughing stock for a while. But it's good to see it coming back with Idles headlining the Other Stage.
bernerber
Williams Green was so good for the lesser known but great 'guitary' stuff. One of my fave sets of 2022 was Penelope Isles at that stage. Id seen them before that in Manchester but they absolutely nailed it and it is a core glastonbury memory for me. Well worth checking those guys out if you've not listened before... still hoping they might get announced. Love all the bands you mentioned, fontaines are un-missable for me, they keep getting better and better. Would second watching Mdou Moctar if you want to see a very good guitarist and a brill live set, but it's not the same style as the stuff you mentioned so worth listening to first. Also second soccer mommy, skindred, alvvays, Fat Dog. Bob Vylan have some almost limp bizkit/rage riffs behind them too. Thanks for Drenge recommendation, hadn't heard before but love it!
