It's listed as "Primary School Assembly Bangers"

You typically do a brilliant summary of what's going on in T&C fields each year along with your own recommendations. Last year The Dark Room was one of my highlights! Any chance of a similar post this year? It would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks, unfortunately I'm not going this year (by choice) so probably won't be.

Although with the exception of Robin Ince / Infinite Monkey Cage and Paul Foot (both of which I'd recommend) the remaining acts are either ones that were the on the past few years so I've already covered, ones I'm not familiar with, or Basil Brush. So you can probably just look at the 2023/2022 posts.

(And is part of the reason I'm not going, I no longer see the T&C line-up come out and have about ten things on that weren't on last year and that I need to tell everyone to go see. Albeit I'm not quite as up on comedy as I used to be, so probably not entirely the festival's fault)

Acts that move around tend to fall under the 'Walkabouts' section on the lineup.

What your describing is the 'Disco Turtle' back again this year 🐢 😁

Nice one!

Had the daftest time following that round. How do you find out where it starts off? Not much recollection of where we first came across it

Roughly around this area, many of the bigger walkabout props live behind the Astolab and tend to emerge from that area, they'll then wonder between the two fields occasionally going south past Bellas bridge and then west towards the pavement and as far as the bandstand stage.

There are timings for the walkabouts on the main line-up, eg here is the Thursday complete with Disco Turtle - which I'm definitely catching after your post! (Though I expect these timings to shift a bit over the course of the day like bus timetables).

Yes that location now makes sense, as it was leaving the site one of our lot didn't want to let it go and nearly left site out of the gate with it 😅

I'd second the recommendation for Paul Foot. Looks like it's the shortened version of his last tour show, Dissolve. Saw it last year and it's excellent.
