Looking into taking an EasyJet flight out of Bristol airport that departs at 6pm. Assuming we get a timely taxi/uber from the coach dropoff in Bristol to the airport, would this be a reasonable itinerary? Or high chance of not making the flight? Expand I wouldn't risk such a close timeline. If the coach from fest takes 1 hour and a taxi from coach to airport takes 30 mins you're only there 2 hours before your flight and this doesn't consider traffic issues getting away from the festival, traffic issues in Bristol or any other extenuating circumstances.

Expand Would you say a direct coach departing Glasto at 2pm and arriving at Bristol Airport at 3pm would work? Alternatively I could take a direct coach departing at noon and arriving at 1pm, but that seems like too much idling time at the airport. Expand This seems pretty reasonable - 2 hours 30 min to get through security etc + leeway. I would want more time personally to be 100% safe and I think you will find most people on here will also recommend a bit more leeway, I probably would say another hour would be good to cover my own back! Would defo choose the earlier option! Expand Yep, and plus being somewhere (relatively) sanitary and having time to kill might give the option for a more extensive self-cleanse. Google suggests there's no longer publicly available showers at Bristol Airport, but personally would definitely look to find a quiet toilet in some corner of the airport, with a sink, some liquid soap, and a load of paper towels, and try to remove as much of the Glastonbury remnants before getting into a metal tube with recycled air alongside 200 other people. CaledonianGonzo
There are hundreds of other post Glastonbury folk there with the same idea. After a muddy one the place can be pretty sordid.

Expand Knowing how bad the traffic is getting away from the festival on the Monday, no I wouldn't risk that timeline. I'd be booking the noon bus. FKA SOSOTWS
Thanks everybody! Appreciate your thoughts and expertise. And yes, the flight will be interesting, coming straight from a week of Glasto. Will definitely clean up the best I can prior to boarding.
