Bath and west parking

I've got a bit of a conundrum that someone who's camped there before might know a solution to.

I've never camped in Bath and west before but this year my friend has got his campervan there and we're going to pitch our tent next to his van.

I'm going up with him on Tuesday night, then on Thursday I have to drive an hour to some services and collect my daughter n bring her back.

He was telling me there's a park and ride at the bath n west showground so might be somewhere to park.

Does anyone know if that's an option, my main problems will be if I have to park in general parking I don't think the bus starts till Wednesday so I'd have to walk with all my stuff on Tuesday. And then on Monday morning I'd have to get the bus back to parking then sit in the queue to get back to where I came from.

Here is more information about Bath and West, it's a drop off point not a car park, the shuttle will be running on Tuesday. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/getting-here/2592-2/

You will have to park in the festival car parks, aim for pink or orange. I have attached a screenshot of them. You will need to get to the bus station which is near Gate A. Make sure your mate takes your gear to make it easier for you! Or drop it off with him before you go and park! 😊

Thanks, thought that might be the case.

The only other thing I can think of is if I meet him just before bath n west n tow him in saying he's broke down.

I still don't think you would be allowed to stay, you would be allowed to drop things off though.

Long shot, but Bath & West camper ticket available for straight swapsies for East if anyone prefers the hushed retreat & luxury of Bath & West as opposed to the anarchy that is East. You'd hate it there honest, I'm doing you a favour! 🤩
