Car park pass - where to buy if didn’t get one with ticket

Hello,

Does anyone know if you’re able to buy a car park pass separately?

we didn’t pay for one with our tickets as in previous years as we weren’t sure what we were doing. 
I’ve heard you can buy them at the gate but wanted to check if you can get them before, if anyone can help please?

Can anyone buy a car parking pass or do you need to have a festival ticket first? Just wondering if chancers trying to sneak in could buy a car park pass just to get that bit closer.

Car park passes can only be purchased by ticket holders. Both parking pass and tickets are checked on entry to the car parks. With the photo id tickets, wristbands etc chancers must have a lot of  time on their hands.

I thought so, that makes sense. So you'd have to show your ticket on the gate if you were buying a pass? Bet that slows the queues down a fair bit.

Yes you need to show your hologram protected festival ticket (with your mugshot printed on it) to buy a parking pass the gate.

 

As the huge majority have pre-purchased a pass and there are multiple entry channels, the very small number buying at the gate don't affect the queues. Festival goers are incentivised to pre-purchase a parking pass by a higher  fee being charged on at the gate purchases (pre-puchase = £55 whilst for those buying on the day =£65)
