Squid don't play Houseplants live much these days -  in case that influences you. Not the last few times I've seen them anyway.

This makes me sad. It’s a perennial classic in our house for my daughter’s ’dance parties’. Might actually have to re-listen to some of their albums now…

They're both very strong. For me, they're similar but less indulgent than black midi. I can't wait to see them through the magnificent WH rig.

For Paul Heaton, does he still do the Beautiful South tunes without Jacqui Abbott?

Yep.  Think on the most recent gigs, he's had a guest female singer stepping in.

Bit of that on the Pyramid will do then!

I missed the 2016 Other Stage performance as I was in a horrendous state in my tent. However the sound carried well enough to the back of Park Home Ground to give me major FOMO.

A bit late to the party on this thread, but my five in no particular order:

Avril

Cyndi Lauper

Lucy Spraggan

London Grammar

Olivia Dean

I'm going through a bit of a female artist phase, no idea why but I'll ride with it. A few years ago I would have selected a load of male indie bands instead.

KiSophia Kourtesis

Fontaine's DC

Paul Heaton

Black Pumas

LCD Soundsystem

5 acts I've never seen before!

DJ wise I'm looking forward to Barry Can't Swim, Dresden, Francois K, Craig Richards, Chris Stussy.

They played it in their Park set couple of years ago.

Bloc Party

Disclosure

The Go! Team

Janelle Monae

Jungle

The Go! Team and Janelle Monae are about my only two non-negotiables at this stage. Jungle just about wins out over Jamie XX. Alvaays would be on there if it wasn't for Janelle based on current clash finder timings, but we'll see. Was massively into Bloc Party and The Go! Team at the same time so seeing both of them would be great. Disclosure the one on this list who is most likely to fall off and be replaced by someone else. Need to listen to some Barry can't swim apparently...

Absolutely gutted that my only two non-negotiables overlap at stages which are about a mile away from each other 😪 Has anyone got a record book for quickest journey from Avalon to Pyramid, might be about to challenge it...

I've always really liked Avalon, but this year is the first time that I've got two of my five must-sees in there, in BC Camplight and Flyte. The latter have three LPs, the last two of which are astonishingly good records. If they can reproduce the lushness of those in that smashing tent I will be a very happy bunny/benny.

Ben

I'm so pleased you've discovered them. They are absolutely wonderful! I know how good they are live so eager to hear what you thought when you saw them. I wasn't there this year but I've seen the setlist they played. Did you catch them dueting with The Staves on The Other too?
