I agree (the national looked great on the telly last year), but I really thought this time was different. Nick Cave is massively famous these days and hugely critically acclaimed. This album is much more accessible than his past few, his songs are played in lots of popular telly series and films, he's selling out big venues.... I thought all the pieces had fallen into place. But it seems not. Not that it's any of my business really. -
What exactly have these UN peacekeepers been doing for the past 12 months while Hezbollah were firing hundreds of rockets a day at Israeli towns? Waste of space the lot of them.

I refuse to think blood incantation won’t be here following liturgy and that Belgian band that played this in the usual 4am black metal slot

Ah listen, I’m with you, but in reality, much as I firmly believe NC&TBS can headline the pyramid, they seem to be repeatedly cast as subs and given that option, I’d prefer to see them in the dark at the top of the other bill rather than in daylight surrounded by folk just waiting to see whoever is coming next. (I’ve nothing against Harry Styles, but comparing him to Bowie is peak eFests hyperbole and you are most certainly not out of touch to wonder at the validity of the statement!). -

I'm talking about the first two albums era. Everything on from that has been worse, performance and album wise.
