Primavera Sound 2025

Recommended Posts

Tyler is as safe a bet can be when it comes to ps headliners... has there ever been a year when he was touring and he was not here?
As opposed to other examples thrown in the chat, this is a return that makes sense. Can see his profile in 2025 getting even higher than what it is now, with a new release

Godspeed played there in 2014.

And in 2003 (my first Primavera), also Efrim from GY!BE played solo in one recent Primavera a la Ciutat. So there was a chance...

on the point of godspeed, it just seems like recently they've veered away from traditional festivals. Don't think there's any falling out, they probably just prefer their own shows.

I saw them this week, and it was very heavy on their new album. They played maybe 8 songs in 2 hours - considering festivals would maybe just give them an hour or so, it would be difficult for them to do their set justice which is probably why they’re sitting festivals out on this tour.

Yeah exactly, was recently at the Manchester gig and it was excellent, a 1hr Godspeed show would be rubbish.

No Spanish date on Chat Pile's European run which ends mid May, reckon they're doing festivals inc Primavera

Fingers crossed! Annoyingly Agriculture are only support for the rest of the European dates and not the ones in the UK - they would also be an excellent booking.

Don't know. I would actually love a 1hr new album set without the 15min drone intro and 20min drone outro. It just gets very formulaic after 15 years. But indeed they probably don't want to do that, hence favour playing smaller indoor festivals.
