Well, that's one of the great things about festivals.  No one knows if you're Alan from Accounts.  No one knows if you drive a banger or if you're a multi-millionaire or you're unemployed and spent your universal credit on a big bag of drugs.

I love that people wear whatever they want. I don't love that it makes some people really stress about what to wear and if they'll be out of place in x outfit.

 

If you love dressing up go for it. If you don't, don't. No judgement either way should be the Glastonbury way.

Do it! My Glastonbury outfits are mainly sequins and sparkles and I love it (for girls also has to be easy to wear for festival loos though 🤣)

Sadly I haven't got any fur trimmed waistcoats or lace parasols, but you know I look like I've had the chips 😋

I don't really know what this thread is about but I can confirm that at some point during the festival I wear sequins and leggings and carry fancy parasols. I want to strive to be more pretentious (f**k it, it's a laugh) but I am unfortunately too lazy.

Have you, indeed? May I ask which picture / photo it is?

 

I have only scanned the pages of that link, but took next to absolutely zero in. However, I have saved the link, with the intention of giving it a chance to begin with ie look at at a later date.. Mind you, I have a folder full of similar examples, which I know that I should read, have a look at etc. They never do get looked at.

 

Maybe you could change that. If you told me which picture you have got on there. I know (for a fact) that I will look at it, then what's around it. This 'may' lead to me reading the whole thing, or it may not. I'd be interested to see if it works though. 

 

There is strong opposition to success though. My mom died last night as I was driving to the hospital to be with her. All a mind f**k, but there will be times when I need to 'get away' from my current thoughts (being on here, right now, is one of them). I know this because my mom's death was inevitable, so I've had a lot of time thinking about only one thing, already.

 

So, if it is possible to inform which photo and maybe some background, then that would be interesting. If for reasons you'd rather not share, then that would be understood.
