Things you finally need to do

what are the things on site you need to tick off but never get around to doing?

 

Watching something in the circus tent, a film in palais, chilling in rimskis junkyard?

I've still not made it to the Stone Circle or Strummerville so they're definitely on the agenda this year

amazed you've never made it to the stone circle 🤣

 

its not all that these days but might be ok Wed/Thurs. Could easily tick off both those things in an hour or two on Thurs

I'm thinking an early visit this year - first year taking baby so we'll be taking things a bit more slowly

Go up the ribbon tower and visit Glastonbury on sea. Ticking my Park headliner off the list this year too.

The hill above Park is higher than the top of the Ribbon Tower and has a better view, so only really worth doing the tower when no queue....

Similarly, the top of the site on the other side where the Worthy FM sign is located also has good views.

There are loads of things I've never gotten around to do in my 17 years there.  I never regret anything when I get home though.

The Temple is the best venue on site, you NEED to do it!!

I’ve been and done almost everything that’s at the festival, I think I’ve been to every stage, so it’s just a question of checking out the new stuff: the revamped Tree Stage, Terminal 1, etc

It's lovely early in the morning! No queues at all.

underground piano bar...but I don't think it is there this year.

Go up the Ribbon Tower.

I think those are the 2 things I haven't done that I would like to do.  Whether I get around to it this year is another thing.

I’m going over to Park after Miss Twain to spend the afternoon/ evening there before London Grammar. Hopefully everyone will be spread out over the farm so it’s quite.

Pretty sure it's open 24/7? Could be wrong.

Ours for this year….

 

1. Walk through the woods area at Woodsies 

 

2. Going to get a photo at the barrier of The Pyramid in the early hours (only way I’ll be getting that close!).

 

3. Find a good pint of Guinness 

 

4. Watch the sunrise at stone circle (not new but haven’t don’t this in years) 

 

5. Eat at the Cajun place by WH
