Agreed, it takes the 'wow' drama out of it, but not going to complain given the result.

418 in 1997, so almost but not quite. Unless one counts the odd 1931 "government of national unity" where 4 parties banded together to make a 500+ seat government.

Joking aside I do feel he should be on here tonight as this is what he's dreamed off / talked about for the past 5 years. I can't help but feel a bit 'meh' about it all... f**king hate the Tories so should be screaming from the hills but never been a fan of Keir. When I was voting it reminded me of Brewsters Millions... 'none of the above'.

This is good for looking up % chances of seat results based on the exit poll: https://news.sky.com/story/exit-poll-what-is-the-forecast-election-result-in-my-constituency-13163180 Unfortunately looks like Sunak is 99% chance of holding the seat...maybe he'd prefer it if he'd lost and could have resigned and walked away!

If we hadn't had all the MRP polls we'd be flabbergasted...but feels a bit anti climatic almost... especially as Tories did better than some had been projecting. But...that really is a ridiculously massive win for labour. Is it biggest ever?
