internetjef
Massively up for this. Silent alarm still one of my fav albums, def top 3 saw them on pyramid in 2007 , and then headline other in 2009. Brilliant both times hoping this chat of a silent alarm heavy set with a couple of other singles sprinkled in is true
crumbler
I have a certain fondness for the first three albums but I'm not fussed about seeing them live without Gordon and Matt.
JohnnyUtah24
I've seen quite a few say it's a Silent Alarm start to finish gig but not seen advertised like that anywhere so must be bullshit Still be worth seeing. Shame the drummer isn't with them anymore

JohnnyUtah24
Any setlist I've seen (none that recent) are a mix from all their albums, this modern love, banquet, helicopter are certs but across the board generally

I hope they mix it up a bit at Glastonbury cos I’m going to both
internetjef
Think someone said on here that one of band members had commented somewhere it would be silent alarm heavy. , but didn’t go as far as saying album in full
FloopFiller
Yeah somebody asked Russell if it was gonna be a Silent Alarm set and he said ‘pretty much’ so I reckon like 10 of the best from it (essentially first ten tracks) and then Two More Years + Flux at the end, and that would be insanely good. Really hope they don’t try and insert any new shite in there - would outright kill the vibe.

st dan
Don’t get me wrong I love(d) Bloc Party, but Kele is 43 in a few months. These are the lyrics of a 13 year old given a Music project at school. Terrible stuff. Just stick to touring Silent Alarm.

nikkic
That is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard.
JMB01
Without doubt one of my sets of the weekend. Was expecting a smaller crowd as thought a lot would flock to Kasabian. Pleased they had a large and committed crowd , quality set !
Superscally
Dead good.
Superscally
Even the new song sounded decent
internetjef
Yep enjoyed this too. Would have loved to sub a couple of tracks out for a couple more SA ones but that’s being picky. Seemed to land well with the crowd around us overall too
Talcroft
Is there anything more peak Kele than playing Helicopter fourth from the end and finishing on Ratchet though.
Northtim
Really enjoyed this, wasn’t one I was planning to go to but a mate wanted to go and it was deffo one of my top 5 of this year. Great crowd and sound. Only really knew 4/5 songs of theirs but it all sounded great

I felt that the Other stage was immense AGAIN this year for sound. West Holts and Woodsies always seem to do the trick (Alvvays were LOUD) and what I saw on the Park seemed good, even from the hill and with the wind. Pyramid dropped the ball so hard this year (luckily recovered for Coldplay - likely as the engineers are familiar with em) and of course the BBC have murdered the quality of so many sets. The problem of jobs for life at the Beeb. Bullshit your way in then be shite for the rest of your life.

No vocals for a few minutes at the start and then ear bleeding bass. We ended up leaving, I'll have to watch it on telly as my parents said it sounded amazing at home haha!
