Avril was good? She was the biggest disappointment of the weekend at Pinkpop. -
Yes - hence why she had a merch stall afterwards (which I was happy to purchase from). I've been to many folk festivals and it's the norm for folk artists to bring out a box of cds afterwards- not sure why more acts don't do it at Glasto.

Certainly by the IAETF era, even I as a huge afficanado had grown weary of their live set. Always heavily laden with their latest album, down tempo, they all looked like they hated being there. By all accounts they had a very frank conversation about calling it a day after lockdown, got a bit of spark back, made the new albums and they haven't looked back. Feels like they finally accepted to hold these big stages they needed to act big again. Recent shows comparable to their very very best around the Boxer/Violet era imo

What does this even mean 🤣 people are either white or they aren't. You're absolutely kidding yourself if you think the Glasto crowd is diverse. It is largely white and middle class. A mere observation, not really a criticism Take your criticisms up with Lenny Henry: Why are big festivals like Glastonbury so white? | Stephanie Phillips | The Guardian
