wosman
Do you have anything you like to do every Glasto? We always make an 80 minute playlist (used to be a CD each back in the day!) from the acts that year to play on the way down and have a draw to decide what order they get played in Always have a toast in CV East to absent friends, whether that be some great people who are sadly missed or friends who were unlucky on ticket day Been getting a Tor rugby club burrito every time since my first in 2003 Nearly there folks! Franky
Always run my hand through the grass once I get and away from the gate (gladiator style). Always get a fire going as early as possible. 10:00 27 degrees. Fire! I can taste it it’s so close !
Ayrshire Chris
Whoever we leave the site at the end of the festival I stand and take a long look at the site realising that I might not be lucky to get tickets again.
Beaver89
Just the route to the bar and into Wednesday evening. From the campsite (Hitchin Hill back in the day, Bushy Ground now), past San Remo (Beat Hotel) across the Pyramid field from the right as you look at it towards the cider bus gazing upon our canvas cathedral. In younger years it was Brothers Bar for the beeline but now we go to the bus. Then just chill, catch up with friends, drink in the atmosphere and the spiritual home eventually landing up the hill for sunset (even pre fireworks and ceremonies we did this). So nothing too unique or special but the cheer when the sun disappears on Wednesday is the official start of a weekend away from the bullshit of life and it never gets old. We also used to sit up on a hill on the last night and look out over the lights. Might have to get that one going again this time. As friends start families and life takes over the shape of our festival is going to change and I am excited to see how we adapt the way we enjoy it around such things. The one that sticks in the mind was clambering up toward Worthy Farm on that really steep bit after a wet and trying 2016. all the wristbands flashing across site as the Coldplay fans moved elsewhere. It turned out to be our last for 6 years thanks to the ticket gods and that memory kept me going.
