how bad is hill of death as an 'older lady' with a trolley?  Long walk to from probable Pink car to gate C which is closest to Tipi, or gate d with hill of death?

Gate C hill of death is not that bad. Especially as it is dry. Plenty of people to help if you need, just ask. If it’s best for your arrival and departure, don’t let it stop you.

I don't think there is that much in it distance wise... the route from D is probably longer but not game-changingly so IMV.

The hill of death also isn't that bad really...a moderate incline but only for a short distance.

I’ve done every gate over the years. Hill of death is tough when leaving. I’d say gate C is probably one of the longest walks from the car parks and can be a struggle. You have to walk through all of the campervan fields on the way through. The stoney track can be hard on ‘less sturdy’ trolleys.
