Pinkpop 2025

Recommended Posts

I've seen Green Day dates with Hurricane and Southside included. 20th A date in Amsterdam is included, so I suspect it is unlikely any Pinkpop appearance included in their June dates.

Volbeat better?

I wish I could like the new Linkin Park material, the entire thing is just tainted (for me) by her history.

Never seen Volbeat (that I recall) would be quality.
My money / hope is;
Justin Timberlake, Olivia Rodrigo and (with the new album hype) The Cure.

The Cure were ruled out a few days ago by the band themselves.

Yeah the Amsterdam show is unlikely to be paired with a Pinkpop drop-in.

Thanks. A shame, but look forward to more dates. Hopefully someone more inspiring and "un-abusive-culty" than Linkin Park takes the slot! But, I'm sure it'll make many happy if they are there. 🤐

And that is a shame. 2 years they play the Netherlands and only indoor at Arnhem and Amsterdam. They would be a perfect fit for Pinkpop...

Seen Korn are expected to be picking up some big festival slots across Europe in June. Would be an ideal addition to Pinkpop.

Last years Pinkpop is more pop related.

It would be nice to see Korn there but i have my doubts...

Would GD be likely to do two nights at Ziggo Dome? Feel like I heard they sold very well in Arnhem and that it's a bigger venue.

Arnhem sold out although it took some time. Amsterdam is smaller venue, about 15.000 capacity... Two nights at Amsterdam is possible i think.

Thought that might be the case.

I guess we'll see how well night one does and if the schedule allows for it. After all, they themselves said further shows are to be announced in due course.

It's true it was more pop orientated. But, that's partly why I think they might reconnect with some more rock and alternative acts. Pumpkins, Weezer, Korn etc! Can hope haha.

In 2023, they booked a few metal bands: DisturbedI PrevailElectric Callboy... despite having PinkRobbie Williams and Red Hot Chili Peppers headliners. Still think it was a bit weird but it's doable. I guess Pinkpop is the only Dutch festival where Falling In Reverse could also play next year.

It's partly why I always keep tabs on their line ups and always like to head over. The diversity, vibe and broad church it offers 🙂
