I can't imagine there are many of us on here but Chappell Roan into BMTH sounds like a great time for me

Whilst I don't think it was a good booking, it absolutely wasn't a bad one. The festival taking a chance on a different artist is a good thing and they aren't always going to work out, so far they have had a very strong hit rate but there are always going to be times when it doesn't. But ultimately does it matter that much? I've been critical of the booking and was before the festival too, but with Glastonbury there are tonnes of stages to go and see stuff on, if you don't like the headliner on the Pyramid then go elsewhere. I think there is an important distinction between a booking that wasn't ideal and a booking that shouldn't have happened. I think SZA headlining was a perfectly fine gamble to take from the festival. Would I have done it? No, but on reflection I find it hard to criticise them too much for doing so. We should be encouraging the festival to continue taking risks and promoting a variety of headliners rather than falling into a cycle of repeat bookings that almost every other festival does.

I think most folk have a throat that’s like swallowing razor blades. A combination of inhaling dust for five days, singing at the top of your voice and a wide selection of viruses😊😉
