Moving from one car park to another - anyone done it?

We arrived yesterday and were directed to purple car park (gate C) but we are camping in Bushy so nearer to gate D.

 

Has anyone ever moved their car mid festival to another car park as could do with not having to trek across site on Monday with all the gear.  Thinking about trying to move it on Sunday morning.

 

Has anyone ever done it and any issues with getting into a preferred car park?

 

I'm thinking some random spots could become free in the car parks on Sunday potentially.

Have moved space in the same field on a Sunday morning to get closer to the exit. You can leave the festival so surely it’s ok?

I did it in 2023 and parked next to an exit in Yellow car park.

 

It was kind of accidental because our car was moved by my daughter during the week and I went and moved it nearer to take our stuff back.

 

Turned out to be the best decision ever, we exited the site on Sun after Elton within 3 mins.
