Soleili
Can't wait to see the crowd size at Justice, I think it'll be mental.

Was actually thinking about this - given the lack of a popular headliner or sub on any of the stages, I could see a lot of people potentially heading off early. Even if Madonna pulled out and they had to bump someone up last minute, both Avril and Shania (not that she was great) would have pulled a bigger crowd
panda97
Never watched a live performance from The National before so not sure what they usually sound like but I think they sound fantastic here
ICESTONE
i know its proabably schedule related but why not start with SZA, Dua on Sat and finish off with Coldplay would seem to no brainer.
Andre91
Just put SZA on to check her out and I don’t think I’ve ever see such a small crowd at the Pyramid on TV before? Also the sound is awful. I don’t think this will go down in history as a smart headliner booking.

prestonmike
Theres a lot of big bands touring the UK at the moment, but Emily was hell bent on getting another female headliner, after the original ones pulled out or turned them down, she should have just accepted a bigger male artist than settle for SZA, it'll go down as one of the worst/most random headliners in the festivals history
TheNewUnion
Smallest ever crowd for a Pyramid headline act? Gotta be close.

germanmon
Yeah it’s pretty empty. Have just walked round to the right of the stage and was within about 8 rows of the front. Unreal. More seem to be joining the crowd though…maybe something else has just finished.
danwink
Bumping Little Simz up to headliner would surely have been a more popular choice? She's exactly the kind of artist they would have popped up in recent years and no doubt would have had a very decent crowd.

I really don’t know what’s up with the sound, has seemed fine all weekend Don’t know a lot about SZA tbf but this does seem like a bad headliner choice. They probably wanted to avoid another enormous crowd on the Sunday night after next to nobody left on Sunday evening last year because of Elton. For all that the crowds tonight look bad on TV, the number of people who have left tonight will probably help tomorrow morning. That said, there’s clearly a middle ground to be struck where a headliner doesn’t embarrass the festival. Keane as the replacement sub if it was the latter. Done.
amfy
Raye would have been a much better booking. She smashed the Radio 1 Big Weekend headline slot and looked every inch a Glastonbury headliner. I think she will be next year.

At their peak, interesting live show on current tour, and Healy does capture a lot of the cultural zeitgeist.

Drums Please Fab
BBC are like a propaganda wing these days....they wont show any overhead shots to hide the paltry crowd.
amfy
Tbf - looking at the crowd as it looks on TV right now, that was a normal headline crowd until recently. We’ve got used to it being g rammed but that isn’t necessarily a good thing.
