Campervan Pass out

Hi all, some of my pals are staying in campervan fields this year.

This morning they popped in for a shower and on the way back out to the campervan one of them was handed a 2023 pass-out pass.

They've just tried to get back in and obviously one has been told they can't and need to go to box office as it's the wrong pass-out.

Anyone heard of this before? Seems sus

That's incredibly strange. Might it be a dodgy gate person dishing out worthless passouts so they can then profit later somehow with the legit ones.

What gate and what day/time?

Also to add, my 16 year old son wasn't given a passout last night. Said he wasn't offered one at all so thought he didn't need one. That was PGC.
