Can the big name dance acts not just start much earlier? Splitting the crowd and forcing an earlier start to proceedings for some might thin out late night participants to more hardcore night owls. This and more late night non dance options with smaller names all round. Everyone wins? Bulldozing the bits of the festival that make it unique so that we can have more late night capacity for big name dance acts is just going to change the character of the festival irreparably to me. -

Wednesday Got to the car park (E9) at about 11.30, I think. Started our journey, which was far longer than any of us expected, to gate C. Half way there my dad, who has mobility issues, stopped and we left some bags with him while the rest of us continued with our super heavy and awkward blow up tent, another tent and a trolly full of stuff. After getting in we headed to Hitchin Hill, which was a mission, but happy once finally getting there. Exhausted we started to put up the tents, first one was up in 5 minutes but the blow up was a real struggle as some of the air tunnels were just deflating straight after pumping them up. After several tired and increasingly frustrated attempts my wife and I gave up and set off to meet my dad. We had a large smoothie each that barely touched the sides and eventually got to the exit only to find we had to have our festival ticket to get back out, so we had to make the journey back to get our tickets and return again. Finally got to my dad, who had made friends with some people in the camper fields and was far more refreshed than we were! We got back to our tent, still deflated and drained, but hopeful as my dad was the only person to put up the tents previously. He tried, several times with no luck, until we realised a little quirk with the valves. Delirious, we got it up in seconds after that. We chilled for a bit and finally head off for a wander in the early evening taking in Car Henge (much better than some had said on here but shame no Williams Green), before heading to the Greenfields. Saw some acts on bandstands and in tents but have no idea who they were. Got back at about 1am. Thursday Chilled for the morning before setting off to get more stuff from the car, seeing Joe Wicks on the way and then when we returned went to Strummerville to see Rosie Aldridge, Callum Bowie and Frank Turner, although was confused as we thought Guise were due on and they never played. Afterwards we met a friend who had gone off to Glade to see something and then we went to meet a friend who arrived via train and bus. He put his stuff in the tent, chilled for a bit before venturing out and as it was his first time we showed him a few places before heading to the SE Corner where my wife and I saw Vlure and Lambrini Girls, and then meeting the others by Car Henge for food, Woodsies and the wood and then bed. Friday Started the day off by strolling down the hill to see Squeeze and then Angie McMahon at the Acoustic, the Squid, a chill in the Greenfields and then Paul Heaton, caught some of Bombay Bicycle Club on the way to the Park for Dexys, down to Leftfield for Sprints and Billy Bragg and back to the Park for Fontaines DC and then heard a bit of Sleaze in the Bimble but it seemed too hectic inside so we left and back to the tent. Saturday FIrst stop was Woodsies for High Vis and Mannequin Pussy then saw a bit of the debates at Leftfield before seeing Last Dinner Party, then the Manfred's and back down to the Other for Camilla Cabello and the Streets and then Coldplay. After Coldplay my wife and I tried to see James Acaster and Nish Kumar but there was a big queue so we wandered around the theatre and circus area for a bit before heading back to the tent while 2 of our other friends went to the Dermot O'Leary set. Sunday Saw the Zutons, the K's and then Soft Play and James at the Other and then, Pillow Queens, Will Varley, Lottery Winners and the Farm at Leftfield, saw the end of Two Door Cinema Club's set, went back to Leftfield to get a t-shirt and see a bit of Bob Vylan and back to the Other for the National. We then took in a bit of Arcadia before heading to the Bimble and then Glastonbury sign and then Crows Nest reflecting on what a great time we had. -
I wouldn't give prisoners the vote but I hope those not paying bills won't be in prison in the first place.
