Festival ‘Awards’

As we all head home, I’m reflecting on my experience this year. Just for fun, I’ve thought up some categories to assign the acts I’ve seen. Would be interested in hearing yours! (Strictly respecting everyone’s opinions…if your favourite act is someone else’s worst, that’s okay!). Feel feel to add more categories.

 

Best act: Justice
Most danceable: Dua Lipa
Best crowd: Coldplay
Surprise package: Barry Can’t Swim
Honorable mentions: Avril Lavigne, LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz

Best act- LCD Soundsystem 

Most danceable- Dixon 

Best crowd - loved the Nia Archives crowd for friendliness and atmosphere. 

Surprise package - Coldplay (I thought they'd be rubbish but they were good). 

Worst act - Cyndi Lauper 

Honorable mentions - The National, Confidence Man, Little Simz.

Worst act: Cyndi Lauper (Terrible, we left to go watch Soccer Mommy) 
Honorable mentions: Scouting For Girls, Soft Play, High Vis & Kasabian all smashed it.
